So, tonight I found myself singing my lungs out on the way back from Lancaster after a successful shopping trip with Erica. Which got me thinking about the playlist of my favorite "Car Tunes." Now, they are not reserved specifically for the car, you can feel free to belt them out in the shower as well. Remember, everybody has a good singing voice in the shower.
So, without further ado, below is a playlist I assembled. These songs lend themselves to singing loud and proud. I'm not sure it would be one I would take on a road-trip, but it is a good one when you're looking to howl along with some good stuff...
Although, I can say I don't just sing in the car or the shower. I will confess my husband has caught me numerous times rocking out while I'm doing the dishes,ironing and I have been known to put on a full concert for the cats.(They are a captive audience!) I can say though that he never takes me up on my offer to challenge his air guitar skills. What a wuss. I guess he just knows who holds the crown.
Please take note ladies: I've been caught at several red lights belting out these tunes in the Dodge 3500. For some reason the people next to you do not expect to see a chick rocking out in her diesel next to them. Go figure. Be prepared for strange looks. I will admit to some fierce car dancing and singing. It cleans the soul.
And, now we can round it out with a little boot stompin'!
